FPA of Puget Sound is one of the nation’s largest and most preeminent organizations for financial planning professionals. With over 400 members FPA of Puget Sound serves the financial planning professionals from Oregon to the Canadian Border and east to the Tri-Cities. 

FPA of Puget Sound promotes the value of financial planning. It provides educational and networking opportunities for financial planning professionals in the Puget Sound region. Each year FPA of Puget Sound holds several Breakfast Series and Happy Hour Forums, one Annual Symposium, and one Ethics meeting. FPA 2020 Symposium Postponed

In addition, he is a co-founder of the XY Planning Network, AdvicePay, and New Planner Recruiting, the former Practitioner Editor of the Journal of Financial Planning, the host of the Financial Advisor Success podcast, and the publisher of the popular financial planning industry blog Nerd’s Eye View through his website Kitces.com, dedicated to advancing knowledge in financial planning. In 2010, Michael was recognized with one of the FPA’s “Heart of Financial Planning” awards for his dedication and work in advancing the profession.
