Coronavirus Updates & Resources

Last updated March 19, 2020

We have received some inquiries from symposium registrants about how our plans are evolving in light of the emerging public health concerns posed by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). FPA is closely monitoring updates from the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the situation in communities where cases of the virus have been confirmed.

How Is the FPA 2020 Symposium Affected?

Based on close monitoring of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) reports, recent health recommendations, and concern for Symposium attendees, partners, and speakers, the FPA of Puget Sound Board of Directors and Symposium Chair Andrew Barfoot have made the difficult decision to postpone the event.

We are working to minimize any inconvenience this postponement causes you as a registrant and appreciate your patience as we arrange to reschedule the 2020 Symposium. We hope to announce the new date in the not too distant future.

We are committed to keeping you informed and will continue to share updates about COVID-19 as it pertains to FPA members and Symposium attendees.

Again, thank you for your patience as our team works through this uncharted territory.

Best regards,
FPA Symposium Committee
